Deontay Wilder is crapping his pants right now

I agree Wilder hasn't fought anyone. His resume is utter ****. If his chin was as bad as people say then he would have been found out sometime recently.

It's just a higher level of boxing between Joshua and Klitschko. Wilder now knows what level he needs to be it and he wont get there with tough battles against Molina and whoever else hes fought so far.

 

I agree. Wilder is a disgrace... Wlad would still be a beltholder with the same defenses as Wilder, at 39 almost 40 he ran into Fury then at 41 ran into Joshua... Two top 3 opponents. Wilder has yet to defend against a top 10 fighter, hell or even face one period... Stiverne may have been ranked as such, but if you actually believe that guy to be h2h a top 10 fighter at ANY point of his career... Well I've got a bridge to sell you.

I really don't think Wilder will be overly worried, for all Wilders faults and let's be honest there are quite a few he would have taken huge encouragement that AJ can be hit, hurt and dropped and love or hate Wilder he can punch.

Joshua was rather fortunate WK didn't press him after the knockdown, for two rounds Joshua looked done.

What will have stayed with Wilder is AJ got up and won, he found a way, so Wilder knows it won't be easy but I really don't think he will be sitting in his hotel thinking "I don't want any part of that".

Yeah but those in the know already knew Joshua could be knocked. Just like Wilder. How? The video evidence and talks. The only one you dont hear or even see ever being knocked of the top 5 is Ortiz and Parker. Parker - Im certain about. Ortiz - Ive not heard anything. Its old news really.

When you say Wilder hasn't fought a top 10 opponent, exactly what rankings are you using.

Stiverne was certainly in every top 10 except for the other organizations that don't recognize each others' champions -- but he was in Ring and Boxrec and Transnational and all that. Gerald Washington was in more than one top 10. Malik Scott has been ranked in the top 10 both before and after fighting Wilder, and so has Johann Duhaupass been in several top 10 rankings after fighting Wilder.

So:

1) What rankings do you use?

2) And who do you RIGHT NOW consider to be in the top 10 if you DON'T rank the champions (since no organization ranks other champs) -- take out AJ, Parker and Wilder and give me a top 10, in order -- and also DON'T rank anyone who is sidelined indefinitely and hasn't fought in the last year (Tyson Fury, Hughie Fury) AND anyone who is suspended by one or more of the major rankings organization's for failing a drug test, thus ineligible to fight for a title (Povetkin).

I'm betting you cannot give a definitive answer to either question.
