You are British. I am American. The world cares about us. Nobody cares about the Brits. AJ isn't even a real Brit. He is black like I am. Fury is a Brit and he is a cocaine addict steroid user. He is the best your country can produce. My country produced Tyson, Ali, Larry Holmes, George Foreman, Holyfield and others.

How does someone who looked dead tired in the 5th, suddenly recoup? I mean the dude was so tired that he spit out his mouthpiece...

Great fight. What a pity people here can't discuss it and appreciate it like adults.

That was a great fight and Klit performed much better than I thought he would. This was the best case scenario for Joshua. I loved every moment of this one.

Why was the mouthpiece completely replaced and not just rinsed off, then replaced again at the end of the round?

Better than average. Very good for a heavyweight fight. But it still felt kinda slow. I feel like I just appreciate the faster lower weights more these days.

Haven't seen Klitschko look that good in a decade. He would have beat any other fighter tonight. This was a career defining fight. It's a shame he had to wait 14 years for another boxer of his level to come along. I also would have liked to see the fight go a few more seconds without being stopped to see if Klitschko could come back.

It was busier than average. The skill level was as high as it gets for heavyweights. We got blood and dueling knockdowns plus the exclamation point of a knockout. I can see this being a classic. The prestige level of the two fighters and the division, the passing of the torch, etc.

It's no Ali vs Frazier, Holmes vs Norton, Tua vs Ibeabuchi, Holyfield vs Bowe, Moorer vs Cooper, Marciano vs Walcott, Foreman vs Lyle, Walcott vs Charles, Marciano vs Moore, Patterson vs Chuvalo, Frazier vs Quarry, Holyfield vs Dokes, Dempsey vs Firpo, Baer vs Carnera but it's probably a little better than Harris vs Jefferson. Still, I might have liked Chisora vs Whyte from last year better. Probably around the 20th best heavyweight fight ever? It's been a while since I've seen Vitali vs Lewis or Brewster vs Liakovich. Those were probably about this level.

That's what it looks like when two top fighters in great shape come to fight.

OK all of you keep saying American fighters are bums. You say Wilder has no chin but Joshua's chin is **** too. I'm telling you Joshua head is big just like Wlad's was when he beat a 40 year old Mercer. Ortiz will be Joshua's Corrie Sanders fight if he has the balls to face him. My guess is that Joshua fights tomato can Pulev next. I don''t see the rematch with Wlad happening. Screw the belts Joshua should fight Ortiz next if he can't fight Wilder next. Heavyweight boxing is about to get interesting again. We have a lot of contenders coming up here in the USA including Tommy Morrison's 2 sons. I went to one of Trey Morrison's fight and he has serious punching power. Europe has a lot of contenders coming up as well. Ortiz is the one I think that could Joshua or Wilder. Hopefully the Fury's will get their crap together. Tyson Fury has major talent but his mental issues are getting in his way. Reminds me of Golota. Golota had all the tools to be champion for a long time but his mental issues stopped him.

Totally agree, perfect post ! stock of both men rose in my eyes

Being knocked down and coming back to win shows great heart, as does battling on at 41 years old

1000% agree that the fight was the best case scenario for Joshua. The way it unfolded and ended will accelerate and magnify his development immensely and will cause his brand with the general public and mainstream media to skyrocket.
