No, I think he would of done better but still lost convincingly. Styles makes fights and Fury's style is horrible for any version of Wlad.

I strongly disagree. To begin with, I thought Wlad was in better shape last night (both physically and mentally) and had much better movement in comparison with the Fury fight. I think this Wlad would have danced around the 39-year old Wlad who showed up against Fury.

The fight in Dusseldorf was horrible to watch, and last nights fight at Wembley was brilliant. But Tyson deserves an awful lot of credit for his win.

People talk rubbish. The Fury of Dusseldorf would have schooled last night's Wladimir.

Wlad hasn't improved. People are deluding themselves. Wlad was forced to fight an exciting fight last night, and he was able to out-general his raw novice opponent at times because in some areas AJ is quite clueless.

AJ is no Fury.
Fury is (was) a maverick, an awkward unorthodox boxer. He was a complete puzzle to Wladimir. He's a puzzle to everyone. He even looks like ****.
AJ is just a beast. He's a very good fighter but he isn't the most intelligent boxer in the ring, very basic. He's no Fury.

 

Klitschko still looked like he can't pull the trigger. Difference is he fought more on the front foot tonight, where the lack of timing is less of an issue. He was able to use his ring IQ and other attributes, that Fury nullified largely. Father Time has given WK punchitis and there is no cure - He would still struggle on the backfoot, trying to counter Fury.

However it was a closish fight against Fury, a slightly better (on the night) Klitschko could easily turn around a few of the close rounds and sneak a decision. I don't think this versiom of WK has an easy night against Fury, but maybe sneaks a narrow win.

 

The styles are too different, Fury likely would still have danced round Wlad.

 

This line of thinking is silly.

He wouldn't have. Because Tyson would have psyched him out again, and his movement would have made him just as hesitant.

Of course he was in better shape mentally last night. Which means you have to give Tyson credit for getting into his head in Germany, both before and during the fight.

It's all about the opponent in front of you.

From a physical standpoint, he could have danced around the ring in Germany like he did last night, up on his toes. But from a psychological standpoint, he couldn't, because Tyson's mind games and movement prevented him from doing so.

What you saw last night was a more confident Wlad, facing a guy who was a lot more hittable than Tyson.

Against Tyson, that confidence and the target in front of him, diminishes.

 

Fury beats vlad too clever too much movement long accurate jab.not as exciting as Joshua but If he sort himself out he might be too clever for Joshua.

In both fights, Wlad was on his feet trying to land that leaping left hook ALL night and it never really landed.

I think he fell in love with that punch and never adjusted outside of that once both AJ and Fury knew how to get out of range.

He had more success against AJ because AJ is a come forward guy and can be neutralised and reset but Fury just messes with your head.

 

Styles make fights. Wlad would always struggle with Furys style, AJ is made to order for Klitschko, and AJ still knocked him out.

AJ would walk through Fury.

 

I'd be very surprised to see AJ walk through Tyson.
