Who Did Better vs Wlad ? Fury or AJ?

That's because Fury is way slicker than AJ, he's got better uperbody movement and footwork and he's also faster, Wlad next to Fury looked slower than against AJ because Fury made him look that way by comparison.

 

Fury did better of course. The art of boxing is to hit and not get hit and that's what Fury did.

 

Difficult to say. Fury psyched Klitschko out to the point he came out at the opening bell afraid to even try and find his range. Joshua didn't use mind games and Klitschko turned up in a great frame of mind, swinging from the opening bell. Fury threw the bare minimum he needed to to get a win, took no risks whatsoever. Joshua threw everything he had. Fury barely took a punch all fight, Joshua got floored, but he also floored Wlad 3 times. Furys style is a nightmare for Wlad, Joshua was made for him, taking all that into account I was more impressed with joshuas performance.

 

Fury did better that's pretty obvious, he won the fight handily while Joshua was taken to the brink of defeat before digging deep and turning it around.

Though ironically Joshua's win will do more for him than Fury's. Despite the dominance of Fury it was a lack lustre fight that turned some people off. Joshua's performance on the other hand electrified people and will do wonders for his career.

So who really did better, the guy who was maligned for a luck lustre perfromance or the guy who just elevated himself to a potential super star?

 

AJ fought the better version of Wlad, while Fury fought a cautious version. I'd go with AJ, because he had to really fight hard for that win.

AJ got schooled by a 41 year old, some could even say exposed, before his brute power got him out of trouble.

Wlad looked better because of AJ lack of boxing skills and only being able to throw punches for 30 seconds

 

No, he looked better and took more risks because he knew AJ'S style from sparring him numerous times for his fights in the past, and most likely felt he can exploit AJ'S flaws which he did to a certain degree.

He knew nothing about Fury until he got in the ring with him, and seen first hand how slippery he was which caused him to be too cautious. Wlad was more aggressive in the Joshua fight hence AJ beating the better Wlad, as I stated before.

 

Wlad wasn't agressive against Fury for the same reason most fighters weren't agressive against Mayweather or Rigondeaux. Fury made him look bad by taking away his weapons, something that AJ wasn't able to.

 

I think I stated that in my own words, that said Saturdays version of Wlad probably would have taken back the crown from Fury had they fought the rematch.

 

Well I stated that It was wrong to assume Wlad was better in said saturday just because he threw more punches. Him throwing very few punches had a lot more to do with Fury's game plan and movement than him just having an off night.

 

Thought Wlad looked great against AJ, brilliant movement kept forcing Joshua to reset and backed him up without throwing. Really out boxed Joshua for large parts and can't remember the last time he threw that many right hands.

So based on that, Fury did the better job. Nullified Wlads offence and was a comfortable win in the end.

Does it mean Fury can do that to Joshua, not sure. But really interested to find out.

 

No, I disagree. Wlad wasn't 100% focused for that fight, things with his fiancee and stuff like that. Let's flip this around for a minute, had Fury went into the rematch with Wlad with his mental issues, what do you think would have happened against a more prepared Wlad?

 

Only in the sense that it takes things out of the judges' hands, and puts an emphatic full stop to the contest that can't really be disputed. But if you have to go life and death with the opponent in order to get the knockout while another man masterfully outpoints them without taking a lick of damage then it's pretty obvious which is the better win under the rules of the sport.
