It does seem some on here dont look at every aspect.

Its very possible that prime Wladimir could beat Joshua after only 18 fights, but is that prime Joshua with so few fights?
Wladimir on his 19th fight wasnt facing a former champ or legend, and in Wladimirs 25th fight lost to Purity.
Do I think Wladimir after 18 fights would beat Joshua after 18 fights? Who knows
Joshua isnt massively experienced with less than 20 fights

"Prime Wlad would have done this". "Prime Wlad would have done that".

It's all just speculation. There's no way of knowing for sure how a prime Wlad would deal with Joshua.

We know an old Wlad took him to brink of defeat so it's worth speculating on.

Most think so. Look Wlad was 41 out of the ring for 1.5 years, taking the fight in AJ's back yard and nearly upset him

A younger, faster, more accurate Wlad would have stopped him. No doubt.

I just don't believe people are trying to say a man in his fourties is in his prime, just to spite him.

I'll up the ante. Joshua spit out his mouth piece, and got lucky the ref gave him a 15 second or so break when he didn't have his legs.

15 seconds when your hurt in boxing taking punches and moving, vs. 15 seconds of resting and not getting hit is HUGE. No one can say for sure what would have happened if the ref did not gift Joshua a time out.

They know he's not in his prime at age 41, but he came very close to winning. Wlad in his prime 27-35 was much faster, hit harder, had better stamina ( a problem in this fight ) and was more accurate.

Therefore he would likely beat Joshua, who was 27 and had his hand full & was hurt and tired.

When he won, Joshua did not celebrate seconds after...because he was that tired.

How? Wlad have been winning comfortably for years against limited opponents with minimal effort, but now Wlad is coming off a lose against a guy that never should of won and had something to prove, Wlad also wanted he's titles back. Regardless of age, Wlad fought better than ever and wanted to make a statement, unfortunately for him, AJ is just better.

The Wlad of 2007-2013 would have finished Joshua in 6-7 rounds. His reflexes were better and his feet were faster.

The rematch will be in Germany. Could help Wlad.

I agree the shield spitting by Joshua was a time buyer. Wlad should have spat his out 2m 25 secs into round 11 and got himself to the bell.

    LOL the excuses.

Fury beat Wlad more comfortable than AJ did, this is a fact.

Secondly you say AJ is better, obviously at this stage in their respective careers, one is in his prime the other is 6 years removed from his.

I actually have come to take it as a compliment on how much they deep down must have a begrudging respect for him that they still claim he's prime at 41.....they're reaching alright.

Especially when Tyson was done at 32, Lewis suddenly became "shot" at 37 despite being like a fine wine etc....
