Monstrous! Can't get any flusher than that, from an over 17 stones right hand power puncher nonetheless.
Great shot, that and the left hook really were the key punches for Joshua in that fight. Joshua probably has the best heavyweight uppercut since Lewis, in the 2 fights he's had problems, Wlad and Whyte, it was the punch that won it for him. And yeah can't believe Wlad took that. Sure Joshua was tired and perhaps a little steam had come off his shots but Wlad was also tired too.
Dillian Whyte knows how Wlad felt….that is if he can remember any of it. Wlad must have borrowed his brothers chin for the night, a lesser man gets put to bed after eating that shot. This uppercut might be the highlight of an epic fight which featured so many great moments. A legendary encounter which will be talked about for decades. Considering what Anthony Joshua accomplished and the manner in which he did it, I can't believe there are people going around trying to discredit the win or downplay the achievement. If Saturday didn't convince you that AJ is the truth then nothing will. (these detractors will appear in this thread soon enough)
That's gotta hurt, how Wlad remained on his feet from that I've no idea but that punch really did hurt him and was the end for Wlad.
I still haven't figured out how Wlad stayed on his feet after that, up there with some of the most brutal looking shots I've seen
Reminds me of this YouTube video I saw a while back where this lady on a bus is complaining or freakin out (can't recall) and this big dude gets up and with one huge upper cut he lays her completely out. It's vicious. Might have even been the bus driver I can't remember, lmao,
