The Povetkin fight was not his fault at all

But moving forward, it needs to be one of these top 5 guys

    Parker

    Or

    AJ

    Or

    Ortiz

    No more soft touches

And I am a Wilder fan...

Hes not anyway, anyone who doesnt see corruption and bs when looking at wilder is a fool to themselves.
He'll cling onto title aslong as hes aloud to,aj,wlad, ortiz, fury and prob parker are too much for him,hes too fundamentally flawed

In all honestly the Povekin fight was his fault as the decision was made after Wilder and his team made a song and dance about the result (which was decided was nothing).

They were back home before anything was decided. The WBC had to save face with a **** and bull story about suspending the fight because Wilder had already gone and was sprouting a drug tirade. Really if they were honest they would have told him to get his ass back on the next plane to Russia or give back the belt. Least Stiverne was advised that there would be no title on the line before he went home..

End of the day, Wilder was just waiting for the flimsiest excuse (a very fortunate one at that) to avoid that fight..

    Sorry to go off topic:

Yes Wilder needs to fight a top 5 guy to show he should be up there and not a current champ. He is a bit like Haye talking sh1t but not doing anything..

Malik scot was a fix,no inquest, povetkin had no case to answer to,no explanation how he got away with not fighting.
Even stiverne was ill in wilder fight, hes not got 1 worthy legit win against anyone fit to be in the ring with him.
If bellew takes the fight he will 100% fight him next

Its good to see the forum speaking up about Wilders opponent choices after 38 fights.

Sure we go overboard about how bad it is, that's our business as fans lol, on the other hand most of that would stop instantly if he fought one of the top guys.

Look at the respect AJ has got for stepping up and fighting Wlad? For that matter, look at the respect Wlad got for facing AJ?

Nothing worse than a fighter bragging loudly he's the best when he hasn't faced the top guys after 38 fights.

P.s. Not his fault about Sasha. He tried to step to the plate that time.

I think Wilder needs to start stepping up his competition, because he isn't going to improve much by fighting stiffs. He needs somebody to bring the best out of him, and that means fights with the other champions, or start fighting top 5 contenders under your WBC rankings. I'm a big fan of wilder, but his recent showing against Washington hasn't convinced me he's the top dawg in the division, especially after Joshua's performance last Saturday night. I'm just keeping it real.

So is Fluid, and Pac still fought him. Oh so is Berto and Fluid fought him. Oh the irony... cleaning up the sport while fighting known cheaters. Oh that's a another thread lol.

Those are some fine words coming from you dren!

Probably a bit painful for you to say as well considering how you like him. He did get a bad rap for the Sasha fail and that is bull.

Regardless, We fans love to complain passionately and its that passion that helps sell these fights.
