Thats because Fury shut Klitschko down.

    Your whole argument is porous.

Was Joshua's fight more entertaining? Of course it was but he went life and death with a 41yo inactive fighter....this is a FACT.

Just because Fury's fight was horrible to watch does not make his fight irrelevant......

Fury is still the boss......Joshua beat a 41yo in an excellent fight in where he was exposed and proved stuff to people.

Enjoy your boys victory but don't try to make 8nto something that its not.

How did he manage that? Partly to do with the other guy in the ring, perhaps?

I think that's what it was. Wlad knew AJ'S flaws from their many sparring sessions, that he thought maybe he'd be able to exploit something in AJ that we hadn't seen yet. But I actually think he helped Joshua's growth, because we now know AJ can face adversity, and make those adjustments to dig down deep and win!

100% he passed the gut check, which is a huge positive. But those technical flaws need ironing out. The ticking time bomb with AJ is he now believes he can take anyone's best shot and find a way to win. He's still too easy to find in my view. That's sustainable at LW for example but at HW, he needs to tighten up or next time he gets dropped they'll be a young lion in the ring who will finish the job.

I'm not sold on Wilder at all but if he managed to land a big shot through AJ's lazy defence - even if it was a lucky potshot - he would close the show....

Yeah AJ is still young in the game and has to improve his technique, and tighten up that defense, but for a guy who just started boxing at 18, and with 19 fights with 19 KO'S, he's already beaten the best HW of this era, and that's a hell of an achievement. As far as Wilder goes, he's always going to have that punchers chance, but it's just his lack of competition, that kind of worries me, because you can't get better if you're not fighting the best opposition.

Thread ending post right here. There's not much more to say, aside from pointing out its validity.

AJ isn't even close to being at his best yet, provided he remains focused on making refinements as he becomes more experienced in the next 4-5 years. As it stands, he's still just as "green" as spinach.

Yeah. He's got some defensive adjustments to make, but he really got caught in the sixth primarily due to gassing so badly. He was SPENT to the point that you could see he clearly *wanted* to punch more, but literally couldn't for the remainder of the fifth... which is when a recovering Wladimir took over the fight (for several rounds).

AJ needs to tighten up his defense, work on his overall footspeed more, and snap that right hand better. He tends to "push" with his straight right a bit. If he developed his jab into a formidable weapon (akin to Wlad's) along with the previously mentioned improvements, then he'd be even harder to deal with. These are all things he can do over time as he approaches his prime. He gained a lot from this recent victory, but there is more work to be done.

He doesn't need to lose weight, per se... (the strength he had came in handy), but he should consider trying to improve his cardio a bit. Coming in at around 245 is a good weight for him.

The almighty AJ gave Wlad a chance? Something stinks in Denmark and a lot on this forum have bought in. Aj is not the savior that you think; in fact, I say his over-confidence will make him soon be a loser and leave you all eating crow. By the way, his defense is horrible. I think Ortiz wants him bad, so do others.
He seems way too cocky, way too sure of himself for what he has accomplished so far-he better back it up soon.

AJ will reign for years to come deal with it! Those of us who said he'd win by knockout were right the rest of you were WRONG! Deal with it

You calling me scum is like a hobo calling Bill Gates poor. You are human medical waste who mocked Danny Jacobs for having cancer and came up with informative threads such as this.

    https://www.x-boxing-forum.com/showthread.php/1515-Favorite-YT-****!

Everybody knows YOU are the biggest piece of worthless filth on the forum. Your life is finished judging by your pathetic behaviour at 45 years of age. Do everybody a favour and top yourself.

I don't even know why him and his lackey waste time on a boxing forum. Both DKSAB and are always off topic or posting some asinine garbage just to push a dying agenda.

HA! Fury is not the boss over anything, except being a crackhead!

Where was Joshua exposed? Because he got dropped?! Lol, with that logic Cunningham exposed Fury, Cunningham can't crack an egg and if he can drop Fury, everyone can!

No, AJ is a proven stud while Fury is a proven crackhead.

Stop making excuses for Wlad being 41, if he felt like he's too old for fighting he wouldn't.

    Answer me these questions then...

    1. Who went life and death with a 41yo who had been inactive for 18 months?

    2. Who beat and undefeated champion in Klitschko in a boring albeit very dominant performance?

    3. Who was knocked down and nearly out in their fight against Klitschko?

I could go on but you are either a casual....Eddie Hearn or Joshua's relative.

Joshua is the goods but Fury beat Klitschko easier and would stand AJ on his head.
