He said it infront of Chavez face, at the face off, infront of Kellerman... I'm sure if Canelo was talking out of his ass, Chavez would have set the record straight.

As I said, good for you. I left this forum for nearly a year because of idiots and nuthuggers (most of them I bet they are gays in the closset, btw.), i'm back with the promise of not arguing anymore with anyone.

Do you think that way, OK, that's perfect.

5 years ago Canelo was the WBC Jr MW CHampion with at least 5 defenses, and Chavez Jr was the WBC MW Champion. The fight was highly anticipated, especially in Mexico, but one fighter was working with Televisa, and the other with Azteca, two rival networks...

. Canelo called Chavez out on that on the face off with Max, and Chavez had nothing to say. Go watch it buddy.

Again, Canelo wasn't going to move up to 160 for that fight and Chavez was killing himself to make 160 at that time. It is like you don't even understand the scenario you posted. It took Canelo how long to finally fight at 160?

Lara was the biggest threat and most elite fighter, perhaps even more dangerous than Chavez Jr, that fight alone Canelo deserves credit for. Lara was and still is considered the most avoided fighter in 154 and IMO they were dead even. Canelo has gotten abit faster, stronger, and wiser inside the ring since that fight. He struggled against Trout as has everyone, but he took Trout's 0. If he was great as he thinks he is and thinks is #1 as he said, he'd had given Lara the rematch and beat him clearly and also beaten Ggg.

Oh for sure on that front you're dead right,Mayweather carries the risk of a loss but his modus operandi has always been one of outweighing his opponents by a mile.

Yes and I've watched that Lara fight a few times,it was close but I don't see why so many felt that Lara won that,I don't favour either but I thought It would of been tough on Canelo had he lost, that said in terms of a physical test Lara was never gonna put his lights out in a way that Charlo or maybe an Andrade could.

Mayweather fluctuated from 147-154, so Canelo fighting Mayweather wasn't a big deal as far as size went, and I agree with Canelo's reasoning to fighting Mayweather, which was a chance to try to beat the best fighter of this era. Chavez would have done the same thing if he wasn't so damn big.

Not to take away from Charlo or Andrade, but Lara Imo is just more proven than those 2. He's a level higher than both. I don't view Lara as a big puncher, but he's still dangerous when he puts his punches together. I'd pick Lara over both Charlo's or Andrade atm.

I know triangle theories and all but didn't Charlo just arguably lose to a fading Trout? Don't see how people can view that fight and completely write off Canelos chances vs Charlo.

disagreeing with you doesn't make someone gay, or in the "closset". maybe you should grow up and see your part in it all.

Kirkland didn't have Wolfe and came off a layoff. Cintron folded every time he faced adversity. Plus canelo was bigger than both of them, and their flaws were readily observable.

Oh I wouldn't write him off infact I'd have him favourite but the physical threat would be there
