Liston, Foreman, thomas, Tyson(when he was sharp) all had very hard and stiff jabs in their repertoire but what about other fighters with tough jabs like a Miguel Cotto or Oscar de la Hoya.
bowe smashing gonzales all over the ring with his rocket left hand, also had a great % of landed jabs against holyfield, look at the left jabs that set up that devastating uppercut in the legendary round 10
I thought Bowe's jab was normally not that hard. More of an accurate jab than a stiff jab. Like Wlad.
but look how he snapped holyfields head back with his jab... even george foreman commented that left jab was the most devastating thing in his life rocked gonzales all over the ring, bowe had great power in his jab when he use it in that way
Tyson's jab was very hard and fast. It just lacked the range but you can't blame him for that. He even knocked Ruddock down with a Southpaw right jab. Tyson regularly demoralised opponents and got their attention with his jab.
Hearns, Arguello, Zarate, Holmes, Spinks at Light Heavy, Qawi, of course Ali,Liston, V.Hill, M.Hagler (stopped Cave man/Cave in Lee with a jab) Galindez, Whitaker, Louis,Lewis, Galaxy, Delohoya, J.Chandler, M.Tyson thousands of fighters had great jabs, its almost a prerequisite for greatness.
yeah real head jerker when he was on it Bowe and his jab. Plus it was what come after it. He could jab and throw an uppercut so fluidly in combo for a big man
I remember being actually shocked at the weight and delivery of Ike Quarteys jab...Takes some beating
