It was definitely Lacy I feel.

Spence got schooled by Andrey Zamkovoy (Russia) at the Olympics ( video has mysteriously disapeared from the whole internet) and Serik Sapiev (Kazakhstan) , Lacy got stopped by Gaidarbek Gaidarbekov( Russia) but still picked up a bronze medal, whereas Spence could never medal at a major tournament.

I was also looking for the video of Sergey Vodopyanov beating Gary Russell Jr, cannot find that anywhere.

Spence wasn't schooled by Zamkovoy, but Lacy definitely was, he was stopped.
BTW, the fight is on the internet, but most of the olympic fights from 2012 were uploaded on the full card of the day rather than individual, so if you actually try to search you would find it.
Regarding Sapiyev, he definitely schooled Spence, but it was one fight away from a medal in the world championships, something that Lacy never reached and Sapiyev schooled nearly everyone he faced.
Regarding the results in the olympics, the have the same exact results (2-1), it was only that Lacy caught a much better draw.
So at the end, no one is clearly superior, but Spence has wins over Taras, olympic bronze, and good fighters like Amir Imam, Julian Williams and Custio Clayton.

Spence Jr is very good on the eye at this moment in time, only time will tell if he is actually as good as he sometimes looks and if he will be as dominant with the top fighters.

When Lacy came over here to fight Calzaghe he was already a world champion, he had already achieved, Spence Jr hasn't yet, he is coming here with a reputation not a belt.

He might go on to be an amazing fighter but until he does we can only go on who he has beat and how he has beat them and at this moment in time he is just another challenger with a solid reputation.

Bcr Ive searched everywhere, I'll look again and watch again if I find it. My memory tells me he technically gave him a lesson. and Yes Sapiev took him to school, which is why I'm starting to think Spence is not as good as people claim, I think Brook beats him all day long.

I don't class Amir Imam and Julian Willians as good fighters, they are domestic level not world level.

btw if you can find Sergey Vodopyanov win against Gary Russell Jr I would appreciate that.

Sapiev beat Spence easily by 10 points. It's a shame we never got to see him in the professionals

Just go to the olympic channel, look for 2012 olympic boxing 69 quarterfinals.
I have the Russell vs Vodopyanov fight from 2007, but i don't know if it is online.
There's no reason to say that Williams and Imam aren't quality when they have lost once against Charlo and Granados.
Also, like I said, Sapiyev schooled everyone, he was an elite fighter, Mario Kindelan schooled Tito, Cotto, Khan and even Felix Diaz.
