I like them both. I don't see why supporting one means you have to demean and hate on the other. Makes no sense to me.

I liked Thomas Hearns and Roberto Duran and Wilfred Benitez and Marvin Hagler and Sugar Ray Leonard. When they fought, I would root for one over the other (Duran was my favorite of faves) but I always loved to watch each of them fight.

Too bad so many today can't appreciate one fighter because they feel it's an affront to another.

If GGG and Canelo ever fight, I'll probably root for Canelo. (Even though right now I'd favor G to win.) But I like both. They are a gift to boxing, and to boxing fans.

I guess if you're into Cowards & Warriors... it's like liking hot and ugly chicks... weird.

Yeah of course, I liked bitter rivals Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank way back in the olden days.

My advice though is don't be fair, diplomatic and speak sense because the haters on both sides will savage you.

When I first started watching boxing I was a fan of Canelo and Chavez Jr. unfortunately I learned they were mostly weight bullies.

I'm a massive fan of both.....both are elite level fighters my only issue is the way team Canelo have gone about avoiding the fight.

As for liking one or the other regarding some fans it reminds me of when I was young you was either a Nintendo fan or a Sega fan....never both.

    Of course you can.
I was fan of both Lennox and Vitali, when that somehow was 'not done'.
Although I myself stopped being a Canelo fan, while still being a Golovkin fan, I can see someone just seeing past all Canelo's bull of the last couple of years and still like him.

Sure you can like them both. Not everybody is a completely helpless idiot with a limited scope and worldview. Knock yourself out, pal!

What if you like hot chicks but occasionally go out 'hogging' to be kinky?

They both have qualities to be liked and admired. Both are excellent fighters. The difference between the two for me, though, is that I believe Canelo is willing to let his handlers determine his career. The most impressive people to me, whether in fighting or business, are people who call their own shots. They are their own men, as they say. Canelo has relinquished his fate to his handlers, and for that, he must accept the criticism. I don't believe GGG would do that. He certainly hasn't and I bet he would fire a handler who said he couldn't fight someone.

Not to get off subject but... as a fan of both Vitali and Lennox.. who do you think wins the rematch after the Kirk Johnson fight had it happened?? Curious to hear your opinion on that

I would have favored Vitali in the rematch (by stoppage) although I believe Lennox was the greater fighter overall

They both were animals no doubt. That Lewis uppercut in the 6th topped Joshua's on Saturday imo.

And I agree with Vitali winning the rematch. Too much drive and would have had more confidence going into it I believe.

Both have business and career decisions I disagree with and they shouldn't be above criticism.
But I love boxing. Both Canelo and GGG are excellent fighters. If they are fighting each other or somebody else, I will definitely watch. Totally appreciate the craft they bring to the ring, I like them equally in that sense.

"hogging" - :meparto:I've never heard that term before. Know a guy who gets hot 19 year olds but still goes "hogging" once in a while. (the guy I know is not me before someone says it:nonono)
