I made this thread to talk about boxing, specifically a match up between a prime Marciano ,and Joshua as he is now . I have no interest or inclination to talk about anything else , especially with a boorish r***** with the manners of a chimp. I currently weigh 202lbs '[though the relevance of that escapes me,] and I boxed on and off for nearly 20 years.
Yeah I'm aware of that. But how many ripped up 250lb people with HGH guts did you see in 1951? Let alone boxers! Times were a tad different huh? Wonder what would have become of Joshua if he had grown up in the 30's and 40's where the only ****ing nutritional supplements they had were milk and wheaties. Not to mention they weren't anywhere near the advanced knowledge of strength training that they are now. And something tells me Ol' Anthony wouldn't have gotten those bull**** nods during the Olympics back then Anyway you have your opinion and I will respect that and I have mine Cheers
Marciano's one dimensional style would not be good against the superheavyweigjts of today. Dempsey, with his quick, circling, in and out, style would fare much better.
LOL but you forgot to factor in that Khurtsidze is about as wide across the shoulders as he is tall. Dude is a goddamn refrigerator and has bricks for fists.
10 is a bit low for the only undefeated HW champion in history, a man who has the the number 2 and a pair of other top 20 HWs on his resume. But each to his own. I have him a bit higher. That said, I seriously doubt he'd beat the post-Klitschko Joshua. Footnote. I have Wlad at 10, even before the Joshua fight.
If you look at prime Jeffries the guy was 220 and ripped. His body fat % had to be ridiculously low. Many fighters from earlier eras were ripped without steroids simply because they dedicated themselves to long hours in the gym and long hours on the road. Then again being ripped or looking like a WWE wrestler has nothing to do with being able to fight.
