I personally doubt it. One of the key ingredients for success is HUNGER, and I do not see hunger left in him.

 

Yeah but Wlad wasn't mentally unstable, and he didn't let himself go by ballooning to 300 pounds plus. Hell never be the same fighter again.

 

He hasn't got any miles on the clock hasn't got hit much never taken a beating .is very young for a HW .will come back in good shape and physically ready .Mentally who knows ?is a nutter anything could happen in the future .can't wait.

 

Thing is we don't know how frequently he was on the marching powder, or just how much he was managing to blast through. The same when it comes to the booze and anything else he was on.

If he hasn't done himself some serious damage with the drugs, I'm hopeful he can get back to the level he was against Wlad. Hell, if he employed a proper nutritionist and strength and conditioning coach, I'd say he could reach a few more levels than before.

 

This isn't exactly the first time he's had to lose weight and get back in shape. He'll be exactly the same fighter he was before he quit.

 

Ironically enough given his 100lb of excess baggage.

 

In reference to the cocaine, I wouldn't worry about it too much provided it wasn't a daily habit. Conor McGregor does plenty of sniff when he's out on three day benders.

 

No chance. The yo yo weight, mental issues, inactivity etc will make it a huge challenge.

Very unlikely to be able to get back to the Vlad fight level. It would take a few years at least if he was discipline. AJ would ko him easy if he come back and fought him straight away.

I don't know how genuine Tyson's problems are. His refusal to fight definitely isn't wholly genuine, as Hughie is following the same pattern and it makes zero sense for a young, up and coming fighter. Especially as Hughie is touted to be highly ambitious and assiduous.

But Tyson's weight gain is very real, as is the coke abuse.

I think the weight might being easier to deal with than people think. All he has to do is go on some PEDs and it will melt off.

 

Well if this past year hasn't been a wake up call for him.. not sure what will be!
