If you think that my post is a super poor analysis then that means that it probably actually made a lot of sense. Thanks for the validation!!

The reason I think it is poor, and why your whole approach is doomed to fail, is that it paints successful fighters as bad.

The opposite would be me making threads and gifs on tomato cans and journeymen, waxing the brilliance of their technique.

At worst most were as good as every last man Joshua beat before meeting the 41 year old version of Wlad. Eric Molina, Charles Martin and all.

Campolo beat Arturo Godoy. Uzcudun beat Max Baer, Godfrey beat Larry Gains. Santa had almost 100 fights and beat Jim Maloney and drew with Tom Heeny, even ray impellitiere beat Andre Lenglet.. by today's standard they all had handy wins. They're not just clowns like you want to believe.

Today, where even Charles Martin can be a champion there's no reason why they could not be given 100% winning records and challenge for titles.

Impelletiere outboxed Carnera before he gassed he was 7-3-0.
Heeney was washed up in1931 he had lost 6 of his last 7 fights ,the win was against Santa! Santa had lost 4 of his last 6 fights. They were not rated men as you would have us believe

I knew you would do that..straight on to boxec I know I know, but picking apart only Santa and impellitiere really does not put either man lower than Charles Martin who had not even won a competitive fight when Joshua beat him..which is what I was saying.

Those guys all won competitive fights and headlined in Madison Square Garden - a magnitude in itself for those days and worth more than the bogus belts that are tossed around today.

The best you can do is prove two SHW opponents of Carnera already measure up to Charles Martin, who is relevant to the endorsement of Joshua.

Yet again you've made sweeping statements just like your stupid one about Johnny Shkor whom you have never actually seen ,yet confidently say he is superior to all Joshua's opponents .Again I ask how many of their fights have you actually seen. It's really ridiculous to the point of absurdity .

Thank you for putting together a very carefully crafted post.

I will give the footage a bit of context.

Carnera like Lewis and Klitschko, changed his style significantly after some of his early losses. He found his Manny Steward figure in Abe Attell. Think of the Carnera of the Larry Gains fight, as being the pre Steward Carnera.

Now all, repeat all boxers, do things that are totally outside the textbook in the heat of the moment, especially when they are taking a beating.

You can dismantle any fighter that way.

What you ultimately have to demonstrate, is that the modern superheavyweights are technically superior, and why they are technically superior.

They didn’t come to dominate the division, because Carnera once threw a punch off the wrong foot, and they didn’t.

What was the technical adjustment, which suddenly made the mountain insurmountable?

    Apparently that is the case.

Seal Harris 23-19-5 would undoubtedly have been so had the competition not have been so fierce.

I have seen both santa and impellitiere. So far as rated SHW go, they're good enough to be rated today. They are both on you tube.

With a good manager, and financial support, he probably would have cracked
    the rankings at some point!

He would not be out of place on any current champions resume now.

It's odd but not at all surprising. Have you voted yet?

    Absolutely.

He would be Wilder's best non mandatory opponent by a big margin!
