It's funny, Ali usually wins h2h polls by at least 55-60% when it's any one individual. It's striking that when you take the single personality of an opponent out of it the polls seem to get much different. The numbers still might get worse, tbf, but there are alot of votes already.
1. Vitali klitchko 2. Mike Tyson 3. Anthony Joshua 4. Lennox Lewis 5. Wlad Klitchko IS the correct top 5 if we are actually using them AT their best and in reality using actual skills along with other intangibles such as strengths and weaknesses. People are looking into careers and myrths of past timers...this isnt what the thread is using. And somesome said above BOWE??? Really ...was it his struggle with 205 Holyfield or going the distance with Tubbs ? Maybe his fights with Golota in where he got mugged twice by a guy who could match his phyisical size or simply his great achievement of tossing a belt to avoid Lewis who would have given us an actual answer how he does against a SHW with his own level ? Joshua is just getting started and Wlad is NOT done yet though he would need to defeat Joshua for me to put him over on this list. I think Wlad vs Lewis would be a very close fight. and probably the closest match up out of my list ...really its who had steward i think would win.And lewis did more things right that Manny told him to in the corner.
Many Outside scorers not including the judges(Who are biased anyways) had it even or a slight Wlad lead.
Because he NEEDS to PROVE himself wait another 10 years than the average fan will get IT!..Thats how this sport works, they dont use the NOW we see it criteria, come back in a decade he'll be waiting for you on the list........lmao
That win over Holyfield is miles and miles better than any win by Vitali who you have as number 1. Even Pieere Coatzer is a better win than Vitali's best wins. Vitali Klitschko took the ATG test and he failed it. Nobody loses to the last era's champ , but Vitali did.
Wlad is ultra cautious and has been taken out 3 times by non great fighters in his 20's and 30's. Vitali was much harder to beat.
Why can't you believe it? Look at his attributes. This is H2H. Yes, his resume is quite poor, but he retired early through injury. Under different circumstances, he could have ruled for years instead of Wlad. Let's look at his 2 losses: Byrd - Byrd's style caused him trouble, but he was up on the cards when he was advised to withdraw. He then had shoulder surgery 5 days later. Lewis - It was a legitimate win for Lennox, but Vitali gave him a great fight. He wanted to continue, he was up on the cards, and Lennox would not give him a rematch. Vitali was a HW who was very hard to beat. He had good skills, he had great size, he was very strong, and he was supremely confident with a great chin. He was much more formidable than his brother.
