    Wow, $5 million for Golden Boy's goldenboy.... AJ and Klitschko walked away with over $13m each before even taking into account PPV revenue.

    Then again, in terms of risk and reward, $5m for almost guaranteed wins or $13m for 50/50 fights.... You can see where Canelo's head is at.

    They are trying to make Canelo look broke after losing that law suit. We will see how many PPV's they cover, but Canelo owes millions. Sometimes it's just better to pay upfront, Oscar once again ****ed himself trying to be slick with a brain full of cocaine. Coke makes you believe you are 2 steps ahead and in reality you are 10 steps backwards.
    That's how we got that billion dollar Wall St. bail out.

    I heard that Jrs purse was $6 million before the fight, with a 1 million per pound penalty. Was it just talk?
    Or, are they assuming BIG PPV dollars and the main purses will come from there.

    Aren't those guarenteed? Pretty sure Canelo is going to walk with around 40 million if it hits 1 mil buys.

    LOL your math doesn't come close to working out. Even if it does 1mill the PPV revenue is 70 mil. Divide that by 2 as the PPV distributors get half that leaves 35 million total before expenses and taxes are even paid. Even if Canelo was getting all the PPV revenue he wouldn't hit 40 mil. Not even close.
