You gotta put in the work, whether you've got a wizard/pro like Memo in your corner or not. I don't think Jr ever accomplished what he could have with a better work ethic and I don't think that's going to change, on a fundamental level, in one fight.

Looks like Jr partially had to starve himself down to the weight. There's multiple ways to get down to a certain weight, and Jr probably had to starve himself and boil off the rest. I don't think we're going to see a particularly strong Chavez tomorrow night.

 

Jr is looking thin, while canelo is looking strong and healthy albeit he is shorter so looks more muscular.
