Cotto vs Canelo was catch weight at 155 for the 160 title, it's beyond me that they allowed something like that.
You can talk about PAC and his catch weights all you want, but he did it fighting much larger men than himself. Canelo is finally fighting someone much larger than himself for the first time.
If Canelo was so "protected" They would had never put him in the ring against Mayweather, Trout, Lara, Cotto and Chavez so plz stfu
Lol. But he nearly lost to Lara and Trout. Some had him losing. Mayweather took him to school. Cotto was past his best and out of his weight class. You can STFU, YDKSAB.
Nearly doesn't mean ****. When you step up you get close competitive fights. look at GGG, he nearly lost to Jacobs and I had him by a point, and what are your thoughts on that?
Reminds me a little of GGG-Brook, I thought GGG looked a bit worried when he realized that Brook had actually bulked up and planned to win, rather than just coming for an easy payday.
Its completely legal, and has been done many times. Its not ideal, but it is what it is. Cotto wouldn't have fought Canelo any other way.
Are you new to boxing? Lara and Trout we're the most avoided fighters and with a stylistic nightmare style and Canelo fought them! Canelo coulda ducked both because they were BIG RISK LOW REWARD type of fighters and still fought both of them! So how is Canelo "protected " ? Plz give me a meaningful answer
