Joshua looked like a complete beast last Saturday. He showed great chin, strength, power, footwork, defence and offensive skills.

Parker looks very quick, and has great stamina no doubt. But I think he lacks the strength and power to cause Joshua any problems.

I think Joshua stops him in four rounds. What do you think?

Parker lacks power, size and explosiveness to be serious threat for AJ.

AJ wins this less than 7 rounds.

The answer is obviously Joshua. I think it might last a bit longer but I'd prefer it didn't, don't want Joe to take more punishment than needed.

But just one correction: Joshua was not the finished product last Saturday, he said so himself. He is the best HW in the world but there's still room for improvement.

Parker just went life and death with a sparring partner who hasn't trained. Parker would lose to Dillian Whyte, never mind Joshua.

I'd favour AJ easily but to say Parker went life of death is pretty moronic..

I agree. Parker won every round in my eyes, and clearly. BUT did you see were this guy was placed on Boxrec. There was a thread on here saying this guy would not go past the second round, and most agreed with it. Parker lacks the power to hurt Joshua, and lacks the size and skill to win a decision over Joshua. It is that simple.

I'm not disputing it was a poor effort and he should have done much better but he didn't go life and death. The guy came to survive not win and that's what happened..

Parker really lacks power which is why he won't get too far if he starts taking unification fights...

Is this a troll thread? Joshua would absolutely destroy the guy. One thing I do credit Parker for is hsi chin, but his chin wont be able to withstand Joshua's spurts.

Oh yes. It was not me that said life and death. He won every round clearly.

As a Parker fan, obviously Joshua. I said that before tonight's fight and this poor performance has only consolidated that view. I don't know what's going on with Parker but he needs to get out of this developmental rut he's in. He used to look amazing, but now he looks increasingly laboured with every fight. At first I just thought it was because of his step up in competition, but what's his excuse with this guy? Fair enough, it can be hard to look good against a fighter who's only in there to survive, but a fighter of Parker's calibre should have been able to get to his man and ended things early. That he didn't is majorly worrying.

I can't see Parker getting any better unless something changes for him in a big way. I'd like to hold out hope that it's not too late for him, but it's getting to the point of no return with every fight. A guy as young and supposedly talented as Parker should be getting better every fight in spite of his team, but maybe Parker is (dare I say it?) just not as good as I originally thought.

I also don't like Porker's weight gain in his last few fights. It does nothing for him that I can see so why not cut the excess baggage?

EDIT: meant to write Parker, not Porker! (perhaps my subconscious speaking out)
