why would a 27 year old be in a rush to fight a 35 year old?

    You have answered your own question Shock. He's not in a hurry to fight GGG or he would have already. His last 3 fights (counting this one) have been nothing more than low risk high $ fights for him with none of them being against top 5 fighters. Why should he fight a guy who is seen as a threat when he can fight B/C level fighters for very high purses with little to no worry in losing.

    Canelo fought for the WBC MIDDLEWEIGHT belt. If he didn't think his body was ready for 160, don't go up in weight! But that was proven to be nonsense when he goes up above middleweight to fight Chavez Jr.

    right.....and why should golovkin fight ward when he can fight low risk welterweights right?.....so golovkin fans are angry at canelo for the same things golovkin has done.....dom wade was no top 5 fighter(im sure a golovkin fans will try desperately to point out his ibf ranking at the time lol).......

    chavez is a risky fight with alot of money....canelo doesnt need golovkin.....and hes proving he can make a bunch of money without golovkin....golovkin aint making that cheese without canelo.....thats why golovkin has been chasing a 26 year old kid, who has no wins against legit mws, for going on two years now

    canelo never said he wouldnt fight mws...he said he wasnt ready...this is a fight, tonight, that is supposed to help him prepare for that...hes 26! hes still a pup.....you want him to jump right into it and face a top 5 p4p fighter in his first fight against a MW? of course you do...unrealistic fanboy you must be if you cant see it

    canelo fought for the mw title at a CW against a guy that was a career WW that beat a cripple......hes not a legit MW yet

    He wanted to "try setting up a very far into the future fight" after initially declining to fight GGG.

    Only after knowledge of the lemuiex signing ward had someone ask for 50/50 from the far bigger star for a future fight.

    GGG teams accepted 50/50, everything split right down the middle, ward declined, those are the facts.

    I would ha e to check, but I believe he fought Wade as his interim fight that was agreed after Canelo fought Cotto. Did they not agree to one interim fight before the mandatory?

    Sure that's why GGG is chasing him. It's GGGs biggest $ fight.

    dom wade was a mandatory ibf title fight...and wade was actually #2 ibf and an injury replacement for t johnson......and apparently they didnt agree to anything because ggg/canelo still hasnt been agreed to or come off

    Shock they did agree to it and you know they did. There was to be 1 interim fight. Canelo choose Khan out if the blue, and GGG fought Wade. The WBC was going to enforce their mandatory, and GGG was happy to let it go to purse bid so Canelo vacated to go back down to 154. He was chased out of the division instead of fight his mandatory.

    chased out of a division he had no legit fights in....cotto was at best a jr mw...which was only late in his career when he couldnt make weight...cottos prime was spent at ww....khan can best be described as a ww...hes really a 140 guy that has been knocked out there...lol......they didnt agree to anything because no fight has been signed or taken place yet.......he vacated because he had no legit fights against a real MW and doesnt want to face a top 5 p4p MW right off the bat
