This. They have to hope that GGG really is fading and fading fast. If its all been a ruse where hes not really put forth max effort in his last couple fights to draw out canelo things could get ugly in there for canelo and do so really quick. That being said i dont believe thats the case. GGG has slipped a little but not to the degree people are saying. Jacobs was huge and a very very good fighter and Brook GGG didnt respect the power and just went in there swinging away and disregarded his defense a bit to put on a good show.

 

Canelo is gonna destroy Lil G and this site is gonna have to find another dick to ride. Especially since by then Kovalev will have been beaten by Ward a 2nd time hahaha. I guess the last hope is Mcgregor or Lomanchenko if he avoids Garcia.

I think some people got the wrong message from Jacobs-GGG.

The message was, to me, "damn Jacobs is good" rather than "Wow, GGG is slipping badly."

My message was: Damn GGG has been on year around VADA while they only tested Jacobs once before the fight.

 

finally canelo wont fight a handpicked opponent. GGG will walk through him. Canelo doesnt have 1 punch power like jacobs did that caused GGG to fight cautious

triple g doesn't play games in the ring against dangerous fighters like lemieux and jacobs. i think he isn't slipping and will annihilate canelo with relative ease. so could jacobs. lemieux vs canelo is 50/50 in my book.

 

There's something to be said for the fact that Canelo fights nothing like Brook or Jacobs. Both of those guys use their footwork to get away from shots in a way Canelo doesn't. Canelo likes to fight at mid-range. Golovkin can just fight at long range with his jab and win a UD.

Canelo is not a big middle weight. He's not a legit Middleweight.It will look like middleweight versus a welter weight. Also Golovkin packs way more power. I just do not see Canelo lasting 8 to 9 rounds of sustained punishment.
