Does anybody know any of Anthony Joshua's lifts, max lifts, press ups etc?

    Fake footage, like 9/11.

Joshua lifting weights is an inside job aimed at casuals.

Again i myself have lifted cars off the ground ,you can only get so much leverage and the guy is 6'6,his arms will hold most of that weight. im not sure you know how difficult it is to lift such an object..watch some strong man competitions you will see arm strength is capable of such feats. Im sure im not lying bc i know how i pick up objects,im not exactly text book either...even if i posted what i could do now( will be 43 tommorow) i would be called a liar.....

I think he is dead now? Think I read something in the newspapers a few years back now. Probably a good 4 plus years back

Well, happy 43rd tmw, 43 in July, and I'm currently in the best physical shape of my life. I'm too worried to see how I fare maxing out, too old to risk serious injury

Muscualr size and strength are NOT always related..you can build muscle with high reps..many body builders arent strong as there size....they dont lift for strength they lift for symetry which can be easily done.Pro body builders are strong primarily bc of steroid usage but the overall strength vs looks usually dont match...theres a big differance between strength training and body building. some of the body builders ive met were some of the weakest trying to lift heavy objects not associated in the weight room.

All of this is wrong except for the highlighted part. What you can lift in the weight room doesn't always carry over to practical use because objects aren't built so that we have leverage over them when picking them up. An Olympic bar is.

I'm not saying you are a liar, as I said it's not physically impossible for Joshua to do that lift. But just look at the lift, it looks fake. I mean he doesn't even get any hip drive in the lift, he squats the weight of the van up, then the hip rise without the the van rising in unison with the hips means his arms were bent not locked out as you'd expect on such a lift.

No I started lifting consistently since March but I have been researching fitness, bodybuilding, powerlifting, athletic training for the last 4 years.

What are your numbers for Bench, Squat, and Deadlift?

Joshua is probably extremely strong. He has natural explosiveness. His sprint speed is impressive. Often the guys who have the natural speed/exposiveness can convert well to powerlifts.

I'm also 43 and considered reasonably strong still, been lifting 25years, and in similar shape as I was at 27.
Good to see there's a few of us around !
