as a guy that doesn't show up for work either, this has made me more of a fan of ward.

 

Yes he's not happy esp as Ward v Kovalev was billed as pound for pound king and yet only hour after the fight the media and fans all just decided that all bets were off,he's probably genuinely dumbfounded by it but the manner of his victory with all the single jab,hold n wrestle for ten rounds I get why everyone changed their minds.

 

I spoke to Ward just a few days ago. He seemed fine then.

 

I don't think it's to do with knock outs even as Floyd was labelled pound for pound king,it's more to do with wrestling his way to victory,in the tune ups he boxed beautifully and hardly ever holded but in all his major fights he always has the passive ref and he doesn't box like he can,he does a single jab,lunges in and holds and wrestles for three minutes every round,it's just not the stuff of pound for pound king as he's choosing to ditch most of his arsenal cause he knows he can get the victory doing that,he's hiding some glass too I reckon?
Not surprised at this he's done it before and whilst he can turn on the charm when he's commentating say his true nature usually comes out with stuff like this,it's all very diva really.

 

Wow. I've never been one to overestimate the ethics in boxing, but damn. People don't even bother to pretend it's on the level anymore.

What a year 2017 is already and we still got Ward v Kovalev,Spence V Brook and like you say if Lomo and Mikey Garcia can get made then that would for me go nearer to showing who's POund for Pound king,if Mikel Garcia won I'd have no problems with him having that tag either as he's likely gonna move up through the weights anyway ala pound for pound.

 

Ward doesn't like Kov. He doesn't like him one bit. He doesn't like him because of the whining and crying after losing. And now that he's talking, Ward has a real dislike for Kov. The rematch should be interesting.

 

Wow what a gang of s*** bags to threaten SK with being sued if they never turn up,talk about petty and again just showing everyone what a piece of work Ward really is.
If I were Kovalev I'd make sure I turn up at every presser as to me it sounds like Ward is banking on a reason to call this thing off,what better than a nice court case,Wards used to all that s***,took out four years to concentrate on kicking a man down in court.
Before I realised what Ward really was I used to say why doesn't the American public get behind Ward like the Brits do with our guys but it took me a while to get on to what a s*** bag he is,public aren't stupid are they,Mayweather was flawed as a person but he never pretended otherwise,the public get that but to have someone call themselves son of God and act like that,the public just see through it and have voted on their feet.

 

What has Kovalev done to deserve any respect from Ward? Kovalev is the one giving bad body language when they square up. Ward isn't the one scared.

In my book ward will never be p4p #1 , he should not be mentioned in the same sentece with Floyd or Pac. He's dirty greco/roman style wrestler .
Loma, crawford , rigo are all better more complete boxers than him.

 

why would they? it never has been. no sport is on the level. boxing just happens to be barely above pro wrestling and mma.
