i did remember the ref getting involved too much . cuz there was so very little action and when there was a glimmer of hope we might get sumthing kenny was there to put his 2 cents in. when really he didnt even need to b in there. the fight would have been fine with no ref in there at all

Oh i agree he let them infight and did not force breaks as easy as bayless but if thats how you compare the two refs then i think you are the one missing something. May likes the ropes and if he wanted to clinch and force a break he simply would have... weeks let both fighters get away with anything like i stated and thats simply not a refs job.. either way mayweather wins and he proved that he could win either way. Its a shame he felt he needed to. The first fight tho scrappy was enjoyable to watch but most people (i sometimes included as i felt this way for may v cotto) see may getting pressured on the ropes and think may is losing rounds. He takes 1 or 2 clean hits and you get swept up in the fact that for once he looks human and beatable but when you really go bak and watch it you see may landing MUCH cleaner shots and maidana (and cotto to a lesser extent) throwing ALOT but not landing scoring blows with 90% I dont think bayless is THAT bad of a ref as people say (but i do agree he breaks up clinches earlier then id like). Remember he got criticised for SAVING MAYWEATHER when maidana pull countered him? But the bell fuken rung and the round was over...
Disagree. If Bayless is the best the sport has to offer we`re in trouble. Bayless is absolutely awful! The best referee is the one you forget is there and dont really make his presence known every 30 god.da.mn secons! dude is garbage!

Mayweather underestimated Maidana he let Tony Weekes, an honest referee. call the fight. He called it straight down the middle, let them BOTH fight their fight & Floyd got his ass kicked. Floyds pathetic " Maidana cheated h roughed me up & bullied me Weekes did nothing to stop him" ROFLMAO Err Fluffy that's YOUR job not the referees Poor Fluffy was used to Uncle Joe Cortez protecting him.
