That's your rule that you made up. The Lineal Title doesn't have rules like that. The only requirement is that they don't weigh over 160, like any other title, it's gotta be 160 or below. As much as you may dislike them, catchweights don't invalidate the fight being for the Title.

lol Actually I was asking a question if he thought that it was right to have Canelo's first fight at 160 vs Triple G. It was a question not a statement. The general consensus was that Canelo should fight a real Middleweight first before getting in there with Triple G as Canelo had only fought 154-lb fighters or blown up welterweights thus far. I was asking him whether it would have been smart to have Canelo's first fight vs a real Middleweight be Triple G? It would make sense I would think to have Canelo fight a real Middleweight first before getting in there with Triple G. With Canelo fighting Chavez, he's now gained the experience of fighting a naturally bigger guy for the first time in his career, which should make fighting Triple G an easier adjustment to the weight limit.
