Too inactive. No real name on his resume.

He should go and fight Chavez Jr, I think he'd put another beating on Julio.

Only fought once since winning the title. Routine win over a European level operator. No more fights planned that I'm aware of. Hence, not a hot topic of conversation.

Same with Oscar Valdez. I love it how Top Rank have certain fighters that always box on the same cards like the Mexican trio of Ramirez, Valdez and Magdelano (probably messed up the spelling!). They also have the Ukrainian trio as well!

Ramirez is still young so hopefully he has chance to build a big name for himself

I know Gilberto is still very young, but do you guys feel he is being brought along way to slow when you consider his talent, is ethnicity, and his division?

Because he is an ethnic champ. one to take Mexican money....

Who he beat for the title, and where they prime, whats his amateur background, what makes him a special fighter.

As Floyd said about GGG Incorrectly out of hate , I think I will use this quote for Ramirez,.

#No special effects, a straight up and down fighter#

Yep and seem as an extreme weight cutter rather than a legit talent.

There are just boxers who have some potential, but not many care about them.

Ramirez, Parker, Ortiz, Sulecki .. only some who didn't get the hype others do. That's life.

There are plenty of other fighters who deserve more attention and
recognition than Ramirez especially in the lower divisions.
