Yeah, that was a good come back. Canelo really takes his craft serious and clearly knows he doesn't need luck to reach his goals. I also liked when he said, "Golovkin, you are next!!" Canelo has always been very eloquent, and extremely confident in how he carries himself in boxing. A true student of the sport.
From what I've heard Canelo's English is better than Golovkin's. If he chooses not to speak it, its probably because he knows his message won't come across the way he wants it since he obviously isn't 100% fluent. I would much rather hear Golovkin speak in his language and have a translater than to hear the same goofy, repetitive statements.. "I have Mexican style, I like to give big drama show for the fans, I'm a good boy, he's a good boy, lets make fight"... Yeah... Because English is so important to cross over.
