Seems 7 others are with Reznik and 49 against, pretty clear cut vote for Bowe.

Not the best versions of Tyson and Foreman.
And yes, it would look comical to you guys.
You would see the herky jerky movement that would look unnatural.
You would see a much smaller man stand directly in front of him, not moving, while Bowe unloads and unloads, while the other guy doesn't move or stagger. And you would probably call him feather fisted.

You could argue that Primo hit Sharkey harder with that uppercut than Dempsey or Louis ever did.

You talk very freely about what various people would have done, but we don't know at the end of the day.

Let’s focus on what people actually did in the real world.

The only world class superheavyweight that Bowe beat was Golotta, and I don't need to tell you the circumstances of that one.

With this being the case, I can't back Bowe against Carnera with a lot of confidence.

You have pointed out a couple of Carnera's technical shortcomings, but you still haven’t addressed the key question.

What did modern superheavyweights do better than Carnera, and how did this amount to a decisive improvement.

Since Reznik has shown that some of the modern superheavyweights that you hold so highly, do all of the things that you have criticised Carnera for doing, this has not done much to address the core question.

The only technical aspect, in which you have identified Bowe to be better than Carnera, is in that he threw a more textbook jab.

Since Bowe fought on the inside anyway, it is difficult to argue that this would have been a decisive advantage.

I match fighters prime for prime, I don't think Bowe was prime for Golota. The Bowe that beat Holyfield beats the living sh*t out of Carnera imo. And I'll talk as freely as I want.

He beat what could be put in front of him, and did it convincingly.

Impellettiere was in the end of year rankings in 35 and 36.

    That is something.

Impelletiere was7-3-0 he had lost 3 of his last 4 and would be ko'd by light hitting Bob Pastor 26% ko.

The only ranked superheavyweight that Bowe beat was Golotta, and he took a one sided beating.

I would hardly say that your position is much stronger here!

I don't think that we can just brush over Bowe's lack of outside game here.

    Impelletiere was ranked alongside.
Eddie Mader no6, he is 57-43-9
    Ford Smith no 10 , 32-27-8
    Hank Hankinson no, 7 45-21-1

Is there a poorer top ten ever?
I repeat Bowe was not prime for that fight.
