What did he do to Goosen? All he wanted was to leave his contact. That's business. But because Goosen had cancer it was a problem? Ward should've fought, but that's about it.

 

Yeah business. That was also business when Ward slandered Goossen's name in the media calling him a thief when the old man was dying of cancer. Clearly a very Christian thing to do.

 

So do you actually think it's very wise to talk smack to a professional fighter in the first place?

 

It all depends if Goosen was actually trying to get over on Ward or not! If he was, then Ward was telling the truth and that is consistent with Christian beliefs. If Goosen wasn't and Ward was just being an ass, then yes, it was very douche baggish of Ward and he deserves all the criticism he is getting. So naturally, we must find out what was going on with the court case and see who was right and who was wrong before we start caliing Ward an unchristian dirt bag and so on!

 

Promoters have been known to rip off their boxers. Do you know it for a fact that Goosen hadn't cheated Ward?

I get an evil vibe from Ward. Anybody that calls themselves the Son of God is a false prophet. And if you read the bible you would know how nefarious these individuals are. There is a thing called empathy you know. Even if Goossen cheated Ward it wasn't right to slander his name when the old man was dying of cancer. That was kicking a man when he was down.

Not to mention Goossen put him on the map by building Ward's career by good matchmaking. Clearly Goossen deserved nothing but slander from Ward in his last days.

 

Would you feel the same way about Don King? I don't know what went on between Ward and Gossen and so I can't say who was right and who was wrong. However, if I felt someone treated me unfairly, the fact that they were on their death bed wouldn't stop me from trying to correct the situation.

 

general theme was ward signed a contract, suddenly decided he didn't like the contract and start throwing a hissy fit a sueing a man dying of cancer

in court ward was found to be in the wrong,because he was breaking contract. Fact of the matter is if he didn't like the contract he shouldn't have signed it in the first place, he did, he then lost in court, 3 times.

He lost a lot of money because he could have been fighting during this time, he also lost money on legal expenses and stalled he's career.

you can say that andre was dumb enough to sign a fair legal contract giving him a raw deal but he then screwed himself worse 10 times over with he's actions. Either way you are either saying ward is a dummy or he is of dubious character, its one or the other

 

ya i find it fairly impossible to hold a grudge against anyone, i think it would take a special type of person to slander a man dying of cancer, especially when they actually did so much working getting them to where they are today

lets not forget goosen got ward all home fights during the super 6 (which was extremely unfair) when he wasn't even a draw, on that alone goosen did great things for ward
