I'd say he would be around 215-220, he'd look a lot closer to Holyfield in his prime as a heavyweight.
@James Smith you didn't answer this question, so I'll ask again... "But you took the size factor out of the equation when deciding Joshua would beat Valuev. How come you can do that only when it suits? So affording Ali the same luxury you afforded Joshua in a hypothetical match up with Valuev, are you saying Joshua beats Ali because he has a better skill set? I assume you think AJ overcomes a 4ins and 70llbs disadvantage against Valuev because of talent? Couldn't Ali's talent bridge the physical disadvantages compared to AJ in exactly the same way?"
Because AJ is an ELITE 6'6" 250lb hw while Ali was a elite 6'3" (truthfully closer to 6 flat than listed 6'3") Just like a good big man beats a good little, a great big beats a great little. How is this so hard for the simpletons to grasp. Ali and Aj are both elite level hw, size DOES MATTER, that's a fact. Ali could beat many fighters Aj'a size, that's fighters NOT on Aj talent level. Holy lord, omfgWTF!!!
The problem with your argument is Joshua beat Wlady. Wlady beat Haye easily, who beat Valuev. Valuev was never the top heavyweight, Joshua is. This has nothing to do with size, we don't even need to talk about size to see which one is better, we know. That is why Valuev vs Whyte is more sensible. We already know Joshua is better than Valuev.
No, he couldn't because Muhammad Ali wasn't better than AJ to the same extent that AJ is better than Valuev ever was. Anthony Joshua is a specimen, he has the perfect size and athleticism for his fighting style, he has fast hands, amazing power, great combination punching, good footwork for his size and a better chin than Ali. The only advantages Ali would have are his footwork, his speed and maybe his ring iq, this wouldn't be enough for him to win the fight.
That is just pathetic, if you are cherry picking just that part of a quote. It's like saying that 7ft fat bum on the street can not beat the heavyweight champion, so size does not matter. We know where Joshua is at and Valuev is at, that is why this argument is stupid.
WTF, AH no. You're really trying to make your case with the following Aj v snv Aj v Ali????????????? Even everything being 100% equal, the bigger fighter will beat the smaller fighter, Lord. Aj and Ali are 2 of the most gifted hw's EVER. Aj just started so just stfu with all your accomplishments blah blah. The reason Aj, 'LL, wlad and vitali beat Ali on a consistent basis is because the much bigger fighters are also ELITE hw champions. Ali would beat snv for crying out phucking loud. Get a grip children
