If Canelo wins in an entertaining and close fight, He will fight GGG again.. the money will be too good not to
It's moves like this by Golden Boy and team Canelo that make me root for GGG even more. Obviously I'm happy the fight is taking place but this just adds to why I despise Oscar and Canelo.
I'm worried about if there are six close rounds and six GGG rounds, that they'll find a way to give it to Canelo anyway. But I'm thinking ginger gets stopped here.

It seems so irrelevant. If Canelo loses, by any means, nobody expects him to want or need to take the rematch. If Golovkin loses, by any means, nobody expects Canelo to want or need to take the rematch. I can't see a scenario where we should think there is more than a 5% chance that a rematch happens. What it does ensure, I suppose, is that if Canelo loses in a thrilling war that captivates the mainstream sports audience and becomes the most talked about fight in decades, somehow, that he can keep his A-side split of increased revenue for a "super rematch." Still, don't see that happening.
Ggg was just happy to get the Canelo payday. He saw Canelo has options and possibly realized 15 mil is more than fair. He is in no position to make any more demands after his fight with Jacobs.
