Fit boxers have always been capable of feats of stamina and late rallies. Wladimir's failure to put the pressure on fully after the 6th round allowed Joshua to get his second wind.
Word choice and enunciation since you are a Yank, Merriam Webster's dictionary would probably be more familiar to you. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/diction
Yes like Aaron Pryor... he found a late spurt that came from nowhere,, but even that was not so explosive and was the result of an illegal substance. When did you see that with 240 pound behemoths?
The scenario you paint only proves that Joshua has sacrificed stamina for strength and power in his training. It does not prove, or even really suggest, any doping. If he were to properly dope his O2 uptake would increase and he wouldn't bonk so badly after exerting himself.
Let's hope he can find a better balance between stamina and strength in the future. Seems like the scenario you paint is that Joshua trained especially to a "all the eggs in one basket" effort to sacrifice stamina over strength. I would have thought to carry explosive strength like that late in a fight would in fact require a steady and consistent stamina throughout. To just switch it on like that is pretty unusual in heavyweight title fights because it wasn't just one blow like Weaver versus Tate but more of a Tyson v Thomas kind of thing. Only this was late in a much a more competitive fight like say the Witherspoon v Bruno fight. However, unlike the arm weary Witherspoon onslaught that finished Bruno this was a sudden rejuvenation of earlier freshness. I think it's pretty unique.
"choice of words especially with regard to correctness, clearness, or effectiveness" In regards to vocal expression: "pronunciation and enunciation of words in singing" You see, the difference between you and I is I learned this in a college classroom whereas you looked it up on the internet 5 minutes before you made the original post and thought you were being clever.
No the difference is I got an A level in English, and you haven't the balls to admit the word covers both definitions.eg When a singer is described as having good diction ie Dinah Washington or Jane Morgan , they are referring to how they enunciate the words of a song ,not that they are using words of their own choosing .You applied the term to show off .
I applied the term because it is in my vocabulary. It has two definitions according to Webster and you didn't use it correctly at all. I said his choice of diction then you tried being a smart ass and say "how can you tell his enunciation?". You are flat out wrong. You're annoying, have **** boxing opinions, and think just because you're old that you have some sort of authority. **** you conservative baby boomer stereotype. You're fake news.
