Boxing is great because many times it's the theatre of the unexpected.
Sometimes though personally, there are fights where the outcome is painfully obvious.
Here are a couple that I remember acurrately predicting.

Lennox Lewis ko2 Michael Grant- after watching Grant get floored twice and struggling with Golota, I knew that it was going to be over quickly for Grant against Lewis. The only thing that surprised me in this fight was Grant making it out of the first round particularly after the third brutal knockdown.

Mike Tyson no contest 2 Andrew Golota - I remember this was a PPV fight. I laughed when it was announced because I knew Golota would quit and be terrified against Tyson.
Me and a couple friends watched the fight at a racetrack, and predictably Golota quit and was showered with beer, popcorn and some red slushy drink. My only surprise was the outcome being changed from a tko to a no contest, if I remember correctly because Tyson tested positive for Marijuana.

What are some of your accurate predictions?

Holyfield losing to Moorer. And then Moorer losing to Big George. I let my first bet ride and made out well after George spent nine rounds making me look like an idiot.

No kidding - I had a strong feeling that Lloyd Honeyghan was going to beat Donald Curry. During the lead up I thought like virtually everyone else that The Ragamuffin Man was biting off more than he could chew but on the day before the fight I watched Honeyghan give an interview and there was some really strong vibe coming off him and told all my friends that I was confident of a major upset.

I've also got it horribly wrong on occasion too like giving Frank Bruno a decent chance against Mike Tyson in their second fight.

Abraham v Dierell .king Arthur was a big favourite and I won a tidy sum although it was a fowl that ended the fight. However I did think Bruno was going to come out swinging like a HW Hagler Hearns in the second Tyson fight. Boy was I wrong.

The two best predictions I made were Marquez-Diaz I where I picked the round and the key punch (uppercut) bested maybe by Froch-Groves I where I predicted what would happen almost exactly.

But getting these things bang on are hard.

Livingstone Bramble v. Ray Mancini I
Marlon Starling v. Mark Breland I

Even as a teenager, I had the ability to understand which fighters were overhyped.

You predicted everybody to beat Wlad, so that is a bit like a broken clock being right twice a day!
