Think if fight was say chief support at the 02 on a Matchroom card and Taylor win as I would fancy his value and reputation would multiple to the wider boxing viewer. Cannot believe some people like Shane McGuigan ridicule the offer and their teams don't counter offer. Shane got caught lying when saying Hearn never offered 70k and started back tracking when he showed he did offer that amount. Bet the boxing professionals on here would agree that 70k is big money for a domestic fight and secondly they will know fighters including British ones who have fought for world titles for less money.

As @Bearabroad pointed out, you might have mixed up a couple of fighters.

I have a feeling you might be thinking Josh Kelly who has had 1 fight.

No problems though, I've done it myself a few times.

Still think Taylor wins but also feel his team should have accepted 70k for sure

I have a "Liam", "Josh", "Smith", "Leather", "Kelly", "Walsh" combination problem. Any permutation seems to be a domestic / Euro level figher, with hopes of being fringe World level.

Yeah Hearn made him look a bit daft to be honest by proving the 70k offer.
Looks like theyve blown that chance for now anyway juding by Hearns tweets yesterday to Ohara Davies.
Shame really, especially with the chance to put himself on a platform and perform on a big undercard.

70k is a good offer for two guys who are essentially still at domestic level. Neither of these guys have the profile of DeGale or Groves when they fought back in 2011. 70k is a solid offer imo.

Your right. If Taylors camps were publicly claiming throughout we think both guys will go to world level and it will be worth more money then I could understand. Good example is Quigg v Frampton. But look at DeGale v Groves, never effected both guys getting big paydays after fighting each other at domestic level
