Does GGG have to ko Canelo to win?

    I think that is the only way I can see him beating Canelo because there is no way Oscar will not have the judges paid off for his prized possession. That's not to say Canelo can't win in a fair decision because this is a competitive fight between to world class boxers but unless he drops Canelo multiple times, there is no way Canelo will lose on the cards.

    So I see two outcomes GGG ko probably late or Canelo points.

    Thoughts?

    Yes, or leave him near death. Canelo is the big star in Vegas now. Nobody wants to see that cash cow lose, so it's going to have to be a complete beatdown.

    Yes, Canelo is on the end of a few controversial decisions or wide scorecards. GGG will need to dominate him at least 8 out of the 12 rounds in order to secure just a SD. Only safe bet is to either KO him or make the corner throw in the towel.

    It's near unanimous consensus that GGG going to have to win BIG on the cards in order to get the W.

    Yeah I'm loving the betting lines too because Canelo decision is 2/1 and GGG by ko 7-12 is 13/5 means I can win on either side of the play.

    I think this fight is way more competitive than it was when GGG wanted the winner of Cotto vs Canelo.

    Yeah definitely I'll be a shocked man if GGG gets the nod on the cards after a competitive fight.

    And Canelo is 5X the A side over GGG than Ward was over Kovalev
