Tyson Fury has delayed his comeback once again until September, with source.

Yes, his return was initially set for March, then April, then July, now September. I will add at least he is actually training now, unlike before when his cardio involved going up to the all you can eat buffet for his 12th serving.

But as others have said, his fate isn't in his hands. He has to get passed UKAD and then the BBBoC.

 

his best move would be to go to russia and fight povetkin. his suspension won't matter. it would be a huge money fight. it would be the second decent fighter he has faced.

I don't hold Fury in high regard till he gets back in shape AND beats a couple of decent fighters in good fashion. I half expect Fury to come back still fairly fat and look very ordinary and lack lustre in his first couple of fights, then despite that they'll go after the big ca$h in fight with AJ. Watch and see.....

 

If he goes into the ring in current shape he'd be ko'd by most fringe contenders.

He's not cleared.
He's not licensed.
He's not the Ring champion as of June.
He's not fighting in September either.

 

Or the people that promised that Fury would 'bring excitement' to the Division? That worked out very well. Not sure what their basis was as the Wlad fight was boring as it gets and the Chisora fight before that was a stinker.

he was exciting almost getting ko'd by bum nevin pajkic and old, shot cunningham.

 

Cunningham was the only 'exciting' fight I have seen him in and he had to grab, clinch, maul, hold, wrestle, and foul Cunningham to get the win. I saw one fight (might have been one of the Chisora fights) where the referee stopped the action and told Fury to stop throwing slaps and throw proper punches.

 

The Chisora rematch was so boring that people starting booing and jeering around the mid rounds and people actually started leaving the venue because it was awful to watch.

 

This was expected.... There was no way he'd be ready to fight in May or early summer. If he takes this seriously then he'll probably be in reasonable shape come September, ready to take on a Manuel Charr type of fighter.

 

charr would still rate among his top four or five opponents.

Tyson Fury becomes champion and then loses his mind. Fury needs to grow the hell up. He has the talent to be champion for a long time but he is wasting his talent. Another Golota. Had skills to be great but has mental problems. If Fury is addicted to drugs I feel be for him. That evil stuff can destroy anyone. And the party life leads to that a lot of times. I will be shocked if Fury makes it back to the top of the sport again. I was hoping Hugie Fury might be a good fighter but he seems to be ducking top fighters which may not be a bad idea being he is still very young.
