I think he is a stylistic problem for GGG. He can slip and bob and weave until he lands something big. He has very underrated defense and comes forward. He would bring the fight to GGG and throw combinations, possible "Mike Tyson" him.

I would still have GGG as the favorite but it's an interesting match up. If Khurtsidze demolishes BJS like he did his previous opponents then he is the real deal.

I don't think Golovkin's style is suited for fighting a much shorter opponent. His best hope is to use his jab but Khurtsidze is a master at taking the jab away and he can counter the jabs with right overhands from way bellow.

    No

Khurtsidze is a very likeable guy & his win against Langford was a good one

But let's not get carried away here, GGGs jab would give khurtsidze nightmares & GGG would get khurtsidze out of there

Khurtsidze's style is great for taking the jab away. He could bob and weave his way to his preferred range. He probably has one hell of a chin too with his physique, the man has no neck. I don't think GGG can KO him just like that.

Not saying GGG would KO khurtsidze in the first couple of rounds but the KO would come

With a 59% KO ratio he is certainly not a feather fisted fighter, it is over half over all, but I don't think he'd have enough power to keep GGG off him for 12 & I think GGG would walk him down however much he was bobbing & weaving & it would go downhill for khurtsidze from there

I like khurtsidze, very likeable fighter, but billyjoe is going to beat him in my personal opinion never mind golovkin , I know that doesn't really count for much as Styles Make Fights but I think khurtsidze is limited & it would show against someone with the boxing skill of billyjoe & ring IQ of GGG

Boxing is about levels, and Saunders and GGG are a level above Khurtsidze. I also think Charlo would outbox Khurtsidze.

What makes you think that Saunders is a level above Khurtsidze?

He's not smaller than Golovkin, only shorter, which is an advantage against Golovkin's style.

Anyone who is a relentless pressure fighter doesn't have the style to beat GGG. They're all KO's waiting to happen, one does not simply walk into GGG shots head first, they're asking to be KO6'd. The only reason why Jacobs went the distance is because he fought a hyper defensive safety first match along with weight and size advantage and GGG respected his power enough to not attempt to walk him down either.

He doesn't. I can even see GGG scoring a flash KD with a jab.

I think Khurtsidze is tailor made for GGG.
