Who is a bigger star, Anthony Joshua or Canelo? Poll

No one knows Joshua over here, at all.
A lot of randoms know Canelo, (he fought Floyd)

I'm sure in Europe Joshua is by far.

 

From the UK but I voted for Canelo.

 

Worldwide it will be AJ. I think out of the non-hardcore fans AJ will be known by most people.
Even over here the match was news, because he fought and beat a legend. I've never seen any newspaper article about Canelo (even when he lost to Mayweather).
Overseas it will be Canelo, because he fought Mayweather.

 

What do these people mean by world wide? Where else besides Europe are people clamoring for AJ's name?

Canelo is the current face of boxing, this simply cannot be disputed.

 

Not sure right now but it looks like AJ is on his way to being a bigger star. It seems like AJ could soon be known worldwide whereas Canelo is unlikely to ever be known outside of the Americas.

 

Talk about being biased, who makes more money per fight. According to latest news Canelo/Chavez Jr made over 1 mill at $74.99. The boxing mecca in the world is Las Vegas, the only reason people are riding high with AJ is because of the Wladimir fight.

AJ is an exciting heavyweight champion. Canelo is not Mayweather or Pacquiao

you know he sold 90k tickets BEFORE the fight took place and won in an epic fashion. He's only gonna grow and grow.

 

Australia, New Zealand, UK, All the African countries, Russia, Ukraine, India, Pakistan, China, many more. AJ has lots of casual fans in all of these countries, Canello doesn't. Only boxing fans know who he is, he's unknown to casuals. Even when they do know of him its for being the ginger kid losing to FMj.

 

and no one knows Canelo in Europe (which is more populated). Joshua is also big in Nigeria as he is half Nigerian (182 million pop).

 

Depends where you are. I can vouch that in the UK, NZ it's AJ by miles, the casuals have no idea who Canelo is.
