    It will depend on what side of the world you're in. In England, it'll be Joshua, in America and Mexico it'll most likely be Canelo. Overall though, Joshua is a heavyweight, if he keeps winning in good fashion, he will take over. He might even take over Floyd's number one status as PPV king.

    I would say whoever has the higher career earnings from the last 2-3 years probably provides the best answer, but I haven't a clue what those actual figures are.

    That's the main point, Canelo is already there. Forget ticket gate, let's talk about the meaty part. Which fight mare more money from PPV's?

    Interestingly they both made exactly the same for their last fights when you account for purse, gate and TV revenue at £15 Mil or $19.5 Mil. Also very interesting that the total money pool was a lot smaller for the Canelo fight, he just took a much bigger portion of the pie whereas Joshua split it 50/50.

    Joshua has had one mega fight that he went life and death in, his hype bubble might be bigger than Canelo's but it's also more precarious.

    He can lose the rematch to Wlad and he still has massive fights with; Wlad (again, trilogy), Fury, Wilder, Parker.

    Canelo has no one he can make money with besides Golovkin.

    I think you need to double check on Joshua's earning, live gate was £7 mill. There's no way Joshua made $54.5 million.
