Great post, but I think that the second Patterson fight was more competitive than the first. If anything, Ali cruelly carried Floyd in the first fight in order to hurt and humiliate him.

Barney Ross, WW Champ, late in the Armstrong fight, asked Henry to let him finish the fight, and Armstrong accommodated him.

Ali was not always the gracious individual his supporters like to promote. (Frazier, Terrell, Patterson, and maybe Quarry I.)

Sugar Ray Robinson carried an old Henry Armstrong out of respect.

I doubt Canelo carried Khan... He was getting embarrassed before the stoppage.

I think, for monetary reason, and some others, he did.

And he mistreated a lot of women, but that is another story.

You don't have to go back very far,,,, Canelo carried Chavez like he was in a bucket, he could have opened up and stopped that stiff anytime after the 6th no problem

I reckon he mistreated Bundini Browns bum hole on occasion. Find it very weird that he slept in the same bed as him to gain strength. Read it in a book, that Bundinis wife would say " hes a sleep in there Muhammad. Go lie down with him "..I know it sounds to far fetched but stranger things have happened

That's some weird stuff if it's true, but Ali marched to the beat of his own drummer.

Very odd. Perhaps I'm looking to deep. I just find it weird why he has a fella that he publicly abused at times so close to him in other ways. Spiritual ? wtf is that about. Ali loved postitutes, but a little part of me thinks he smoked blue vein with Bundini

Could be, it's sad if it truly happened. There were things about Muhammad that seemed a bit different, to be honest.
