Just watched Steve Kim interview Loeffler. GGG got a percentage of the ppv not just a flat fee. Happy for him. I guess I can't post a link of that interview here huh. Shane it was a good one and even discussed Klitchko briefly.

 

But who'll walk away the daddy? Can't wait for this fight. Would like to see GGG get a KO but I didn't like what I saw in the Jacobs fight. Not sure who to put the money on.

Golovkin's last fights were against better fighters in better shape than Canelo. If you're going on recent opposition, there's only one game in town, and it comes from Karaganda. FWIW I think the Jacobs we saw vs GGG cleans Saul's clock too.

I don't see how this is surprising at all. Oscar has been doing this kind of stuff since he was a PPV fighter.

Look no further than what he did with Mayweather who was universally considered the # 1 fighter in the sport at the time- Oscar picked the gloves, ring size and the weight class to name just a few of the contractual stipulations. That's not even mentioning the split in the purses which was heavily in DLH's favor.

That's what the A-side gets to do, right or not. If the other guy wants the fight so bad, they have to make the concessions necessary.

I always knew K2 and Golovkin would do this,heck if they made concessions for Jacobs then they gonna do for Canelo aren't they,I've no probs with it and I hope the winner and loser gets equal respect afterwards.
