I think Jacobs still made approx. $2,000,000 for that fight, he should thank Golovkin, then earn a rematch if he wants it..............

Jacobs gave up one of the titles on the scales. He knew he cannot win it anyways so he opted for a big weight advantage.

calling Jacobs a cruiserweight sounds hyperbolic, but it sure seems to be the case.

for instance, everyone probably knows that Daniel Jacobs spent the last four weeks of his camp at the training facility run by ex-BALCO chief Victor Conte.

in an interview the morning before GGG vs Jacobs, Conte said

I predict Danny will be between 178-180 when he steps into the ring.
He was at 176 at 8 a.m. this morning.

So is Golovkin. He was 170+ on the day of the fight. SMW is 168.

Yes, and 12 hours before the fight, he was over the SMW limit, so maybe he should have fought Ward?

It doesn't matter what division Eubank is in, he's completely irrelevant to professional boxing, period.

GGG won the fight man, no need to keep crying about the weight

When's the last time Ward took a same day weigh in???

Try, NOT IN A LONG FUKKIN TIME.

If Ward wanted GGG at 168, Im almost positive, on Sept 17th, the 30(15KO)-2(1KO) former SMW boss will be getting an EVERYTHING HIS WAY OFFER for a SMW showdown.

So by that logic, the 185+lb Ward should only be fighting the likes of CWs.

And FTR, Eubank Jr doesn't hide the fact he's well in excess of 180 on fightnight.

Him vs Jacobs would be a GREAT fight.
Eubank Jr's crude but unrelenting offense, iron chin, and unlimited engine, vs the slick puncher who's size is only overshadowed by his heart.

Lol well that's another matter but you're not wrong he's a laughing stock.
At the start of the year I saw a vid where someone was saying it's gonna be his year when in fact just about everyone has been involved or is gonna be involved in top fights and Eubank jnr seems proud of his IBO belt lol, what a loser, needs to ditch his dad and get to work as he does have takent

Obviously you still on same day weigh ins,I know it's a crazy carry on but it's quite the norm and Golovkin is nowhere near what some of the big weigh cutters are.
Kell Brook for instance is another Canelo but doesn't get mentioned like Canelo does on account of him not fighting at catch weights but here's where it gets cloudy as whilst he weighs as much as GGG he's no middleweight.

Cruiserweights cut weight to make CW. Jacobs was, at the most, as big as a LHW.

If we are going to call Jacobs a CW then we also have to call Golovkin a LHW. Both are equally silly.
