I think Deontay Wilder has to fight against Bermane Stiverne because he rejected the step aside money. Do you really think Tony Bellew would have a better chance against Wilder ?
Wilder too tall, bellews best chance is v Parker. Everyone forgets Bellew was a HW as an amateur and if Parker performs how he did last fight, Bellew on points for me.
I cant see how that is a big big money fight for Bellew in the UK,yes its chance to win HW title and get big money fight later but also cant see him winning this one.Parker will need to show some urgency and go for the K.O this time or he will get robbed. If he cant beat Bellew then doesnt belong in top 20.
I do, though I also think it's a much riskier fight from a health standpoint. Wilder has the potential to absolutely flatline Bellew with one punch, but he'll also give Bellew opportunities to get into the fight. Parker won't. I think recent performances have skewed posters' opinions on just how dangerous a boxer Parker is. Unless Bellew can apply constant pressure to Parker and absorb a hailstorm of firepower coming back at him in return he's not going to be able to expose Parker's flaws. I don't question Bellew's heart but I don't think he has the HW resilience to fight that type of fight.
How is that logical? Parker boxed Cojanu's ears off and didn't take anything back in return. Bellew outgutted Haye and won a close fight against an injured opponent while losing rounds in the process. You could easily argue that Bellew would do better than Cojanu, but there's nothing to suggest he outboxes Parker, especially if we're taking both fighters' respective last performances into account.
Parker knocks him out. Bellew has had his moments of glory but in all fairness, his 'lucky' streak will end with this fight.
I think he would have no chance against both of them. He would be scared to engage with Wilder like he was with David Haye before he was injured and Wilder would hunt him through the ring and knock him out sooner or later, he has nothing that Wilder hasn't seen before and is physically extremely weak for a heavyweight. Joseph Parker would easily outbox him and he would probably knock him out in the late rounds.
Bellew cannot hurt Parker and Parker is not going to gas out like a usual Bellew opponent. Parker by late KO I think.
Parker isn't very good but 4/5 to beat Bellew is an absolute steal. Sometimes you get odds like this in boxing that are basically as good as printing money: Garcia to beat Dejan 4/9 Linares to best Crolla 13/8 Linares to beat Crolla II 4/6 Linares to Beat Campbell 4/9 Khurtsidze to beat Langford 11/10 Usyk to beat Glowacki 4/11 These spring to mind recently
