Honestly it's a lose lose because there's the possibility that he's just not that good against that style and he will look like crap again or as everyone else is saying, it won't matter anyways because Salido is older but it is kinda strange and inconsistent with what fighters are typically expected to do. Just saying. Kinda Amir Khanish lol

Foh. If he doesn't rematch Salido he will be seen as a guy who was scared of salidoa style point blank. **** business moves...you do the rematch period no if, ands, or buts.

You can't leave a stone unturned. Passes and double standards pacify fighters. This shouldn't even be a debate really.

Kostya should've fought an immediate rematch then. And Salido being shop worn or not...you do the rematch.

I can't believe people are!signing off on Salido Loma 2 lmao. What are you scared of? The rough house tactics? Loma has gotten better you said so why shouldn't Loma do the rematch?

It's double standards and bias galore around here depending on the skin pigmentation of the fighter. That alone determines whether there should be a rematch or not.
    Example:
How long did we have to hear that Mayweather should rematch Pacquiao because of his fake shoulder injury? There will be Blood has a 40 million GB thread count calling for this fight but, believes that Lomachenko could not face a man that robbed him of his first corrupt title shot provided to him by Bob Arum.
Then here comes the legion of shaft riders to cheer this foolish decision on because, why not?

Look at that shabby resume full of nobodies. Leo Santa Cruz had a better resume before the Mares fight than Lomachenko has now.

Maybe I know Kostya had a problem with his promoter Bill Mordey at the time. You do have a point but if he goes on to bigger and better things I would give Loma a pass (I am a Loma nuthugger though so am biased).

yep--and it was a Salido who deliberately blew the weigh-in by over two pounds (he was closer to the next higher weight class); and was a damn welterweight on fight night (147), compared to Loma, who i think rehydrated up to around 135

While the rematch is fresh and can happen he just has to make that rematch. I think that he wins the rematch, but I still have to see it.
