Canelo should get no credit if he beats GGG.

So the GGG fanboys stopped saying golovkin takes punishment on purpose to suck in opponents and are now just saying its a sign he is shot.

    What a terrible thread.
How come you guys never have faith in your fighter... we are still months away...

I was going to say "Every Eastern Euro fighter" but I felt like it does a disservice to the true EE nuthuggers. They've been repping them for years (see TKO6 thread), it's not their fault the dumbest fan base in sports history slimed their way onto the Soviet Bloc bandwagon. At least the EE garglers actually follow the sport for years.

Wow, these Triple G fans are freakin terrified of fighting Canelo. For years they've been talking smack about how scared Canelo was to fight Triple G, and all this crap, but now that the fight's on, they're coming up with every excuse in the book in preparation for an expected Triple G defeat lol.

Now all of a sudden Triple G is "shot and old" and even if Canelo wins he gets no credit lol. I've never seen a group of fans backtrack so much once a fight was made. It seems that Triple G fans have a real bad case of cold feet or the heebie jeebies. Talking smack about fighting Canelo sounded great until the fight was actually made. Then it quickly became "what did we get ourselves into". Instead of showing confidence in their fighter, they immediately resort to excuses like their fighter is old, shot, or Triple G can't win a decision against Canelo, basically anything to have a build in excuse in case Triple G loses. I mean wow, this is some real dissention and serious doubt among the Triple G fanbase.

No dissention here Gennady is going to kick El Pollo Rojo's chubby little ass He'll do a Margarito/Cotto1 on him & make him kneel in submission

Well that's refreshing to hear your confidence that Triple G will win, but as you can attest to, the same confidence can't be said about many of your comrades.

I take it you don't think Triple G is old and shot. Is it disconcerting to you to see so many of your fellow Triple G fans coming up with every excuse in the book as to why Triple G isn’t gonna win, or in this case that Canelo wouldn’t deserve any credit if he were to beat Triple G? I mean I've never seen a fan base so scared of a big fight, after talking all this smack about how Canelo was so scared to fight him lol. Why do so many Triple G fans have to go to such lengths to prepare themselves mentality for a Triple G defeat to Canelo? If so many of Triple G's own fans are expecting him to lose and have to make built-in excuses for that happening, how are you so confident? Hopefully you as a confident Triple G fan can explain it to me, so I understand why so many threads like this keep popping up here that are making excuses for Triple G, like saying he's old and shot not or that he has no chance to win a decision, or other excuses along those lines? I'm guessing that you would give Canelo full credit if he were to beat Triple G.

Sounds like another built-in excuse. "Oscar seems unwilling to give Gennady a fair fight"? "He's stacked the deck against Gennady"? It sounds a lot like what I was saying about Floyd vs Canelo. The difference is that in Floyd vs Canelo, Canelo had to drain himself to 152 for Floyd to agree.

On the other hand, with Canelo vs Triple G, despite the vast majority of Triple G fans thinking that Canelo would try to drain Triple G down to a catchweight, Oscar and Canelo have agreed to fight Triple G at the Full 160. So please explain to me how Oscar is stacking the deck against Triple G when he's agreed to have the fight at 160 lbs, the Middleweight limit, with no catchweight?

You read the GGG fans wrong. What they are concerned about is the Gennady will get ROBBED. That is a very legitimate concern
The contract give Canelo EVERY advantage. A carbon copyof the Mayweather contracts Gennady has to KO Pollo to win
