Right now, Prime Vitali UD Joshua. But, it is a bit unfair as Joshua is not prime yet.

Pretty much the consensus opinion with a couple of crazies (as always) holding out. Joshua is going to get better ... maybe a lot better. That could be scary.

Did Rahman get better after he knocked out Lennox?

Joshua is 27 years of age, in the absolute prime of his career. The fight with wlad he took significant head blows and was in a war which he had to wait for the second wind (I like to call it the roids kicking in) to recover his energy.

That was the peak version of Joshua, you can't really improve boxing ability at this stage of the career, those bad habits that lead to him being knocked to the canvas will not be ironed out.

Was Wlad in his prime at 27 years old ? No, he wasn't.

Complete nonsense as usual, the prime of a fighter is individual, Anthony Joshua started boxing at 18 years old,
of course he is going to improve, you simpleton.

If Rahman had retired after KTFO Lewis, his reputation would be a lot lower today ;)

    Edit: Lennox' rep.

    Here we disagree.

He is at his physical peak, maybe.

But his boxing ability can improve. Wlad was at his technical peak ~38 years old ... even though he had clearly slowed down and lost reactions. If AJ looks after his health carefully, he might emulate what Wlad did and achieve a sort of a golden age in his 30's.

That said, I'd like to see him in some more competitive fights before getting too hyped up.

He's physically a force, and he produced a great performance vs Wlad, but maintaining that elite level is another matter entirely. Seen too many "unbeatable" fighters fade after a brief blaze of glory.

the same world that all the other hw champs decided that being 38 and defending titles was too much for that age.

presumably at some point IN THIS WORLD you will try and argue that they were wrong. hurry up, you been asked three times now.

Since you refuse to address the question, let me ask you in another way. How many other heavyweights in Lewis' era retired before 38 years of age and never returned?

your question as to why lennox retired at 38 has been answered long ago.

why do you refuse to acknowledge the answer by pretending its not answered?

Wrong concerning world title fights, 99% of them were not defending world titles at 38. I've said this three times.

How many times do you need it said?

You didn't answer why Lewis decided to agree to a rematch clause if he knew he was going to retire at 38.

You've wormed your way out of answering by arguing that other heavyweights did not defend their crown at 38 when Lewis had all of the titles.

cos he wasnt 38 by then. AGeing made him rethink it, in line with nearly all the hw champs in history.

tell me why u think they are all wrong - 4th ask.

you're not listening to the answer its as simple as that. once u listen this is all over for you... so i can see why opted not to explain why you are right and all the champs are wrong.

He was 37 and 3 months away from turning 38. So he was more or less 38 when he signed the contract. So don't give me that ''ageing'' made him reconsider.

Suffering the beating that he received through the hands of Vitali made him reconsider real hard on whether he wanted to go through that all over again and likely lose his belts, his reputation and pride.
