    GGG is 37 -0-0 last i checked.

He fights all of his mandos without complain or delay and he has KO'ed everyone he's faced with the lone exception of Daniel Jacobs who he still knocked down, dominated, and got the W

Casuals? Casual fans are watching the NBA Finals and wandering when Mayweather vs McGregor is going to get made.

As a follower of the sport for 30 years, Golovkin is the rightful favorite.

I do feel everyone has waited Golovkin out mate. We never got to see him face the best fighters during his athletic prime because the other guys around him didn't want it. They bought into the hype as much as the fans and so there will always be unanswered questions about Golovkin now no matter what happens to his career from this point onwards.

I'd say he was showing signs he'd slipped a little from at least the Brook fight prob a little bit earlier and think DJ was better than many people made out.

Anyway... I still think he's going to do a real number on Canelo. I just think it won't be as one sided as it would of been had the fight happened 2 years ago.

Come on, I wouldn't say Canelo is Buster. This fight is close. Depends whoever tactics prevail.

Anyway my biggest wish for this fight is that it wont be boring.
GGG winning will be the icing on the cake. But I wont be really dissapointed if Canelo KOs Golovkin.

Yeah, all signs point to a good fight given their styles, but you just never know in Boxing anymore.

IDK, this fight was always being talked about for this September since last year. I think they were really trying to gauge how big of a draw GGG actually was, so they can maximize profits, but at the end I don't think it panned out as well as GBP had thought it would.

None the less were getting it now, at a time where it's not going to get any bigger, so the timing is perfect, and I figured that once Jacobs took him 12 and snapped that KO streak, that there was going to be a lot of "He's declined" talk which I attribute to him stepping up in competition, rather than actually declining imo.. you can't knock out everybody.

You're right, you never know now, but I like these young vs old battles. They tend to fulfill expectations more often than not

    Exactly. Word for word..
Its just two year. I'm happy with the 2017 date. For one, Canelo was a kid two years ago compared to Golovkin, now he matured, I'd say he blossomed, and two ; he was coming up so he had to fight at least two big guys before GGG
Money wise...they we re smart, there's also enough time for a rematch or a trilogy ffs
