Who would have dreamed that this would run to its present 51 pages?
Wonder how many posts a," Better All Round Fighter, Nicolai Valuev Or Lennox Lewis," would do?

ps. Was Neusel ever even the best fighter in Germany?

    Give it enough time.

I'm sure there will be a serious debate about it, in decades to come. ;)

The footage has become an irrelevance in this debate, because neither side of the argument is seeing what the other is seeing.

That is the diplomatic way of putting it!

That really is the diplomatic way of putting. One might even call it spin; forgetting that 87% of the vote favors Bowe being the 'Better All-Around Fighter.

And, I suspect, that most of the voters haven't gone to written sources, to aid them in making their selection.

    The opposite is true.
They opened the book of Gallico folk lore, not us. We were content analyzing the footage. And many people have expressed seeing Primo in a new light since seeing improved footage.

That using quotes of another fighter back then calling Carnera "bad" or something like that doesnt really do anything especially since there seem to be quotes from equaly qualified observers saying the opposite.

I said quotes calling Carnera good dont mean anything because there are other quotes saying the opposite. And more importantly there is footage that we can watch with our own eyes that tells us that Carnera wasnt as good as Bowe. Even if it also tells us he might have been better than previously thought

I dont care for written quotes whatever they call him.
Maybe it tells you that, but it tells mme that if Carnera tried to awkwardly reach out and wrestle with Bowe like he did with impellitere he would get sat down by way of 1-2

I literally copied what you said, but replaced "good" with "bad."
I doubt Bowe is putting Primo down.

He might not, im not convinced at all of his 1 punch power, but if you think the Carnera that we see in the footage would be very competitive with Bowe, i got a bridge to sell you. But you als think GGG nblows out Canelo despite Abel Sanchez himself saying its a fight that could happen 3 times

Bowe wasn't known for his 1 punch power.
    Good puncher nonetheless.

What's your prediction for the fight?

The footage has allowed 70 odd Classicists to make an informed opinion/vote.

I really dont know. I think GGG is badly overrated but i also think that Canelo has a deceptive resumee and is less proven than people think. Im leaning towards Canelo simply because Golden Boy has elite matchmakers and Canelo has gotten some dodgy Scorecards. So they must either be sure or have made sure that Canelo walks away with the Win
