Who is a bigger star, Anthony Joshua or Canelo? Poll

I already explained earlier in this thread why money from two differing models makes comparing money generated invalid as a reason to claim one fighter is more popular than another.

Fact is sport in US is far more lucrative. You have sports stars like Tom Brady making crazy money but outside of the US nobody would have a ****ing clue who they were. So clinging onto the idea more money means more popularity when comparing differing markets is ludicrous.

 

Then explain why 35 - 75 million people in Latin America watched Canelo/Chavez. Canelo is way bigger than AJ in the Americas as some posts suggested.

You're switching arguments now. I never suggested AJ was bigger in the Americas, anyone who thinks that's an idiot or trolling you. But my point stands, money comparisons in 2 separate markets as a way of assessing each fighters popularity is invalid.

 

Actually you took my post that was meant for another poster and took it out of context. It was regarding Canelo's and AJ's purse.

As of right now it has to be Canelo. Look at his PPV buys at 70+ compared to Joshuas at like 20-30. But Joshua has more potential since he's a HW.
